Many students from Std V to Std X at the Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Kannamwar Nagar were barred from taking the internal exams. This led to chaos on the campus after parents arrived and argued with the school staff. The exam was cancelled later.
According to a teacher at Madhyamik Vidyalaya, a private aided English medium school, many parents have not paid fees for months, prompting them to take this action. “Parents have not paid the fees for two to three months. They did not budge despite repeated reminders, hence we decided to take action. Many parents barged in on Tuesday to speak to staff. We had to cancel the exams on Tuesday due to the chaos,” said a school teacher. mid-day did not find the school principal on campus.
