A bus broke down during the evening rush hour on the Bandra Kurla Complex connector bridge creating utter chaos in the area and leaving many pedestrians stranded for over an hour. This situation added to the pre-existing traffic diversions that had been in place for planned events over the past three days.

Frustrated citizens turned to social media to express their anger. One commuter, Mohnish Rathod, said, “When will this get cleared? I’ve been stuck in the BKC connector area for over an hour. Please let us know what’s the issue.” Another commuter, Dipali, said, “A bus breakdown cannot cause traffic from the Bandra bridge near Jio mall to BKC avenue, which took more than two hours. I don’t know why traffic is not being managed.”
