BMC announces water cut, low pressure supply in parts of city for 16 hours

The Brihanmumbai municipal Corporation BMC on Thursday said that there would be water cut and low pressure water supply in several parts of city for 16 hours on May 22 and 23According to an official statement the BMC said thatin the KEast Ward the work of crossconnection of the newly laid 1500 mm dia Water main with the newly laid 1200 mm dia Parla outlet and discarding of the old leaking 1200 mm dia water main at the junction of BD Sawant road and CG Road to the junction of CG Road and Sahar Road in Andheri East will be undertaken The work will be commenced on May 22 from 0900 am and will be completed on May 23 at 0100 amPost this work water levels of Veravali reservoirs I II and III will be improved subsequently water supply of Andheri East amp West Jogeshwari East amp West Vile Parle East and West will be improved the BMC saidDue to this work there will be curtailed supply in some parts of KWest PSouth ward and no supply in some part of KEast Psouth and KWest ward the civic body
