The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday announced a 24-hour temporary water supply shutdown in parts of N Ward, S Ward, and T Ward of the city from May 24th to May 25th, 2024.
The BMC said that the work of diverting an existing 1200 mm diameter water main along Mulund Goregaon Link Road (GMLR), from Fortis Hospital to Udyog Shetra, Mulund (West), T Ward, is being undertaken by the BMC through the GMLR Department. This diversion is necessary because the 1200 mm diameter water main is infringing on the foundation of the GMLR flyover.
