Mumbai: Bajrang Dal, Hindu IT Cell file complaints against actor Nayanthara

Annapoorani: Bajrang Dal filed a complaint at Oshiwara police station two days ago, and an inquiry in this connection is underway; another complaint was filed at the Lokmanya Tilak Marg police station in South Mumbai by Ramesh Solanki, founder of Hindu IT Cell against actor Nayanthara for hurting religious sentiments

Actor Nayanthara and people associated with the recently released film `Annapoorani` are facing complaints for allegedly hurting religious sentiments. Activists from two right-wing groups have separately filed complaints, accusing the film of making controversial remarks about Lord Ram and promoting `love jihad.`
The complainants have alleged that certain scenes in the film hurt religious sentiments of Hindus, police said on Thursday. `Annapoorani` was recently released on Netflix.
