Mumbai Fire Brigade personnel rescued at least seven persons who were stranded on the 15th floor of a private high-rise in the city`s Grant Road area after a fire broke out in the building. The incident was reported by the city police through VHF.

According to the officials, people stranded on the 21st and 22nd floors were rescued by the firemen and taken to the terrace, subsequently, they rescued seven-eight strandees from the 15th floor. Through the staircase, they were taken to the terrace as well. The building, the officials said was a Ground + 21 structure.
