'Meetha paan' lands man in hospital, offence registered

According to the information shared by cops, 28 year old Abdul Kaleem Siraj Ahmed Sheikh, resident of Siddharth Nagar, Ulhasnagar Camp number 5, had gone to eat paan at DG paan shop on Sunday at around 12.30pm. Abdul reportedly asked for meetha paan and as soon as he consumed it, he fell unconscious.

A 28 year old man fell unconscious after eating `meetha paan` from a paan centre in Ulhasnagar on Sunday afternoon. The man was rushed to hospital and currently under treatment. The Hill Line police station has registered a non-cognizable offence against the paan centre owner for adding a powder which is reportedly the reason behind the incident.
