Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis late Monday evening held a meeting with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Maratha reservation which saw violent incidents across the state.

On Monday, District Collector Dipa Mudhol Munde issued prohibitory orders under CrPC 144(2) in a 5-kilometre radius area in the wake of the violent incidents over the Maratha reservation in Maharashtra`s Beed, ANI reported. The prohibitory orders have been issued from the District headquarters and all taluka Headquarters in the district.
