Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader and Lok Sabha MP, Sunil Tatkare, reiterated the Maharashtra government`s dedication to establishing legally sustainable reservations for the Maratha community, stated a report in PTI. Tatkare, addressing reporters in Thane, discussed the historical context of Maratha reservations and the associated legal challenges, emphasizing the community`s justified demand for reservation.
According to the report, He also mentioned the collaborative efforts of the "Mahayuti" alliance, comprising the Shiv Sena, NCP (Ajit Pawar faction), and BJP, as they work towards achieving "Mission 45 plus" and securing over 45 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Tatkare assured that the seat distribution among the Mahayuti constituents would be conducted meticulously and involve leaders at both the state and national levels.
