Konkan div tops, Mumbai improves, Nagpur records lowest pass rate of all

The much-awaited results of the SSC/Class X exams conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) were declared on Monday afternoon. The pass percentage for the Class X (Secondary School Certificate) exams in Maharashtra increased marginally by almost 2 per cent, while Mumbai witnessed an increase of 2.17 per cent compared to last year.
While the Konkan division topped the state with 99.01 per cent, Mumbai secured the fourth position with 95.83 per cent. Meanwhile, the Nagpur division recorded the lowest result at 94.73 per cent among the nine divisions in the state. The Kolhapur and Pune divisional boards secured the second and third positions by recording 97.45 per cent and 96.44 per cent, respectively.
