The Meteorological Department has issued a nowcast warning for certain regions in Maharashtra, predicting the likelihood of severe and moderate thunderstorms with lightning, along with rainfall.
An `Orange` alert was issued for Chandrapur, Gadchiroli, Bhandara and Gondia and a `Yellow` alert was issued for Nagpur, Wardha, Amravati, Akola, Yavatmal, Bhuldana and Washim.
