Nagpur`s Commissioner of Police, Amitesh Kumar, has refuted reports of a scuffle between Police and Bharatiya Janata Party workers outside the official residence of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He emphasized that no criminal offense has occurred.
Kumar explained that the situation was being blown out of proportion, and there was no event that could be classified as a criminal offense or a non-cognizable crime at Devendra Fadnavis`s residence. There was a dispute as BJP workers gathered to enter the deputy CM`s residence, but senior police officers swiftly intervened, effectively resolving the situation. The Commissioner of Police insisted that the incident was not as serious as it was portrayed in certain sections of the media.
