With heavy rain across Maharashtra and issues related to the state board server delaying the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) result work, teachers have now demanded extension of the result submission deadline. Earlier, the last date for completion of the result work was July 21, but it was extended to July 23. However, now the teachers have demanded a further extension.
Speaking to mid-day, Professor Mukund Aandhalkar, coordinator, Maharashtra State Federation of Junior College Teachers’ Organisations, said, “Heavy rain has led to major problems. Since Tuesday night the state board server, where teachers have to enter the marks, is facing technical issues. This will make it difficult for the work to be completed within the deadline.” The organisation has requested the government for a further extension of the deadline.
