Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, in his Republic Day address after hoisting the national flag at Shivaji Park, emphasised the state`s commitment to growth in all areas. He asked citizens to work together to develop a new and stronger Maharashtra, stated a PTI report.
Per the report, Governor Bais mentioned a number of successes, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi`s inauguration of the `Atal Bihari Vajpayee Shewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu,` the country`s longest sea bridge. He also underlined the substantial MoUs signed at the World Economic Forum in Davos, totalling over Rs 3.53 lakh crore.
