A fire broke out at a residential building`s transformer in Thane district of Maharashtra, the Regional Disaster Management Cell (RDMC) of the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) said on Monday.

According to the civic body, the incident was reported on Monday at about 2:32 pm. A fire broke out at the Mahavitarna transformer at Lakshmi Narayan Residency`s H Wing in Devdaya Nagar, Thane (West).
