Maharashtra on Friday reported 32 Covid-19 cases, which took the tally to 81,36,915, while the death toll stood unchanged at 1,48,419, a health official said. The addition to the tally was a rise from the 18 recorded on Thursday, which also saw one death, he pointed out.
The recovery count increased by 28 in the last 24 hours to touch 79,88,353, leaving the state with an active caseload of 143, he said. The recovery rate in the state is 98.17 per cent, while 8,60,80,579 coronavirus tests have been conducted so far, including 11,816 in the last 24 hours, as per state health department data.
