Political parties must participate in the voter registration campaign more actively, stated Maharashtra`s Konkan Divisional Commissioner Dr Mahendra Kalyankar, officials said on Friday.

Political parties must participate in the voter registration campaign more actively, stated Maharashtra`s Konkan Divisional Commissioner Dr Mahendra Kalyankar, officials said on Friday. Kalyankar, according to the PTI report, is also an electoral roll observer.
According to the officials, Kalyankar met with representatives of all recognised parties on Wednesday in the Thane district and asked them to designate agents at the booth level in order to guarantee transparent and quality updates· to the voter list, the report added.
