The Opposition front INDIA has taken note of the Centre`s move to have `one nation one election` as well as possibility of early Lok Sabha elections. The leaders of 28 parties met informally Thursday night to discuss this issue, among others, confirmed the general secretary of the Communist Party of India, D Raja, Friday morning.
Raja`s views can be taken as a collective thinking of the parties gathered in Mumbai for a two-day meeting, their third to strategize the way to counter the Bharatiya Janata Party. It appeared that the Opposition was not much warry of the move but it would protest and block the `one nation one election ` bill in the special session of the Parliament later this month, and at the same time, get prepared for any eventuality, considering the BJP`s way of seeing through their agenda in the law making house.
