Actor Chrisann Pereira, known for her role in “Sadak 2”, expressed her positivity and relief after being released from a 27-day incarceration in a Sharjah jail due to a drug frame-up case. She emphasized that the belief in her innocence helped her stay positive during her time in jail and wished that nobody would have to go through such an experience again.
Pereira, 27, thanked the Mumbai Police Commissioner and other senior officers for their assistance in ensuring her return from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). She recounted her traumatic experience, which began when she was apprehended at Sharjah airport on April 1, as drugs were discovered inside a memento that she was asked to deliver to someone in the UAE. The Mumbai crime branch later determined that she had been framed.
