A group of five friends is pulling out all the stops to identify the driver who mowed down their friend and left him to bleed to death. On January 25, Worli resident Vinit Sancheti (38) was killed after an unknown driver rammed into his motorcycle on JNPT Road in Panvel, and fled the spot. Sancheti bled for more than an hour and nobody came to his help. Police were eventually called in and he was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
