Mumbai University has announced the final dates for admissions for the academic year 2024-25 but with a rider. The varsity administration has issued a warning to its affiliated colleges that if they fail to conduct admission procedures as per the schedule, the delay will cause them penalties.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the MU spokesperson said, “Some colleges do not initiate the admission process on time. As a result, students whose admission applications have not been submitted within the stipulated period are not registered with the university, or if they have been registered, their examination hall tickets are not prepared due to the incomplete process or the current process being incomplete when declared. Hence, hurdles are being created for future admissions and even in the examination process. This will not be tolerated henceforth.”
