Mumbai adds 454 new infections on Sunday; state reports 9,000 cases, 180 fatalities

The daily Covid-19 cases in Mumbai dropped marginally to 454, while new casualties hovered around 10, on Sunday. The test positivity rate, which was 1.26 per cent on Friday, rose to 1.40 per cent.
According to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation`s latest report, of the 12 newly confirmed Covid-19 deaths, eight patients had comorbidities, six were senior citizens, six were in the 40-59 years age group.
