Mumbai Police on Wednesday issued a public notice for the vehicle owners who have not yet visited the traffic police chowkies to release their vehicles. The police have asked the vehicle owners to claim their abandoned cars before February 15 or else it will be auctioned, the public notice issued by the Mumbai Police said.
The Mumbai Traffic Police in its notification said, "This is to inform the citizens that 3,901 abandoned vehicles are lying unclaimed in different traffic chowkies of Traffic Control Branch of Mumbai Police. A detailed list of these vehicles is displayed on the website of the Mumbai Traffic Police."
