In an another setback to the Shiv Sena, senior party leader and former Maharashtra minister Ramdas Kadam on Monday resigned from the party. Kadam wrote a letter to former Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray, tendering his resignation as Shiv Sena party leader. Kadam also posted his resignation on his Twitter account.
Kadam had served as the state environment minister in the BJP-Sena government in the state (2014-19).
