Preliminary results show strong performance by allies Shinde Sena and NCP’s Ajit Pawar group, too

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has emerged victorious in the recently concluded Maharashtra gram panchayat elections, securing a significant majority of seats. As per the preliminary results, the BJP has captured more than 724 seats, cementing its position as the dominant party in the state’s rural governance.
The BJP’s allies, the Shiv Sena’s Shinde group and the NCP’s Ajit Pawar group, have also made substantial gains in the elections. These results highlight the growing influence of these parties in Maharashtra’s political landscape.
