The Mumbai police have filed a case against the Maharashtra Youth Congress` social media handle and 16 people for allegedly disseminating a deepfake video of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, officials said on Tuesday.
The bogus video alleged to show BJP leader Amit Shah announcing the decrease of quota privileges for Scheduled Castes (SCs), Scheduled Tribes (STs), and Other Backward Classes (OBCs), reported PTI.
