Amid unease in the Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena alliance after the Nationalist Congress Party`s Ajit Pawar joined the coalition government in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Sunday met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital city New Delhi.

Amid unease in the Bharatiya Janata Party-Shiv Sena alliance after the Nationalist Congress Party`s Ajit Pawar joined the coalition government in Maharashtra, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Saturday met the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital city New Delhi.
Shinde who was accompanied by his family said it was a courtesy call. He said he also briefed the prime minister on the progress of projects stalled during the previous Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government as well as about the impact of heavy rains in Maharashtra.
