Thane district on Wednesday reported as many as 28 new Covid-19 cases. The new cases took the infection tally to 1,96,869, according to the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC).

According to a bulletin issued by the TMC on October 12, no Covid-19 related death was reported on Wednesday. The Covid-19 fatality toll in Thane now stands at 2,162.
