19-year-old man waiting to join merchant navy job dies in road crash in Navi Mum

A 19-year-old youth selected for a merchant navy job died after an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Highway, police said on Thursday. According to the report in PTi, the man died after his scooter was hit by an unidentified vehicle on the service road of the Mumbai-Pune Highway.
According to an official`s statement to the news agency, the incident occurred on Wednesday when the victim, Samarth Sarika Karale, was en route Kamothe in Navi Mumbai on his scooter.
