10-year-old girl drowns in Vasai resort's swimming pool

A 10-year-old child drowned in the swimming pool of a resort in Vasai, Palghar district, a police officer revealed on Thursday. According to an official at the Vasai police station, the event occurred in Rangaon on Wednesday morning, reported PTI.
The girl, Ridhi Mane, had moved from the children`s pool to the deeper one designated for adults while her mother went to get dinner. When the mother returned, she spotted her daughter in trouble and alerted the alarm. Despite efforts, the doctor pronounced the kid dead, the report added.
