Operation reunite: Mumbai Police rescues 487 missing children in 45 days flat

In the past week, the Mumbai Police have also rescued children as young as two-month-old and a one-year-old in two separate cases of kidnapping

Mumbai Police has rescued 487 children in just 45 days as part of their special drive, `Operation Reunite`, the police said. As per the data shared by the city police, in the ongoing drive, between August 15 and September 30, the police managed to rescue hundreds of children below the age of 18 years.

An official said, "during the drive not only children whose kidnapping or missing complaints were registered on record but children whose missing complaints were not found on records were rescued as part of operation reunite."
