Navi Mumbai Police rescued two child labourers from two different eateries in the city, an official said on Wednesday. The official told news agency PTI that they found the children were employed at the eateries during a routine inspection on Tuesday. The two eateries are located at a vegetable market in the Vashi area of the city.
The official from the APMC police station further told the news agency that the children were allegedly made to hard labour work, harassed and given inadequate remuneration for the work they did.
