Navi Mumbai: Man booked for repeatedly raping woman over past 2 years

Navi Mumbai cops said that the accused, who had developed a friendship with survivor, had repeatedly raped her between Oct 2022 and January this year.

A man was booked for allegedly repeatedly raping a 25-year-old woman from Navi Mumbai, a police official said on Monday. As per a PTI report, the official said that the accused had been blackmailing the woman too.
Kamothe police station official told news agency PTI that the Navi Mumbai resident works for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation while the man is a resident of Maharashtra`s Ahmednagar.
