Mumbai: Police arrest husband for assault over delayed birthday cake

The Sakinaka police have arrested Rajendra Shinde who fled to Latur after assaulting his wife and son over a dispute regarding the delay in bringing a birthday cake. He was arrested and brought back to Mumbai.
The complainant, a woman living with her husband and son in the Sakinaka area, reported that the incident occurred on her husband`s birthday. He had asked her to bring a cake for the celebration. Despite ordering the cake as planned, the cake arrived late, which angered her husband. This led to a heated argument between them.
