Mumbai Customs seizes over 4.65 Kgs gold in two days

Mumbai Customs has seized over 4.65 kgs gold valued at Rs 2.49 Crore across 12 different cases from February 21 to 23

The Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone III seized over 4.65 kgs gold valued at Rs 2.49 Crore across 12 different cases, from February 21 to 23.
Additional Commissioner, Sarika Shah said, "Two Foreign Nationals, travelling from Muscat to Mumbai were intercepted based on APIS profiling in two different cases. 24 KT Gold dust in wax and 22 KT Gold Jewelery, collectively weighing 1210 grams were recovered. Gold dust in wax was found concealed in the rectum and Gold Jewellery was found concealed on the body of the passenger", Shah said.
