Mumbai crime: Two Mumbai Police officials foiled a robbery at knife point by three men and saved a man`s life after he was allegedly attacked by the suspects. The cops nabbed one of the three attackers red handed and also immediately responded to an urgent medical attention needed to the injured victim and shifted him to a nearby hospital, a police official said on Monday.
According to the police, the incident took place on September 30 night when the victim, an auto rickshaw driver, was stopped by three people at Shilphata area in Thane and was on his way to Mankhurd. Upon reaching a deserted spot in Mankhurd area of eastern Mumbai, the trio asked the driver to stop the vehicle and began to rob him at knife point. In the process the victim also allegedly sustained some injuries.
