Mumbai Crime Branch officials nab duo with deadly weapons, unearth rape case

Mumbai Crime Branch officials had received a tip off regarding two suspects reaching Andheri west with weapons, the duo were later nabbed, the police said

Mumbai Crime Branch officials on Thursday said that while investigating a case of illegal weapon possession including pistol, live cartridges and sharp weapons, they have unearthed a rape case involving one of the two accused they had nabbed on Wednesday from D N Nagar area in Andheri.
According to the Mumbai Police, Mumbai Crime Branch`s unit 9 officials had initially received a tip off regarding two suspects reaching D N Nagar area in Andheri west on Wednesday. The Mumbai Crime Branch officials accordingly laid a trap to nab the suspects and formed a special team to trace and locate the suspects.
