Maharashtra crime: A man was arrested by the Palghar Police for allegedly breaking into a temple and stealing cash from the donation box in Maharashtra`s Palghar district, police said on Sunday, the PTI reported.
According to the PTI, the Palghar Police on Friday arrested the suspect identified as Shabbir alias Fateh Murtaza Ali Sheikh, 26, a resident of Nalasopara, for allegedly breaking into a temple in the Girij area, senior inspector Ranjit Andale said.
