A two-month-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped from south Mumbai two days ago was on Thursday reunited with her parents after police nabbed a couple and rescued the infant from Antop Hill area, the police said. 

According to the police, a 30-year-old woman living on a footpath in L T Marg area approached police late Tuesday night saying her infant daughter was missing. On receiving the complaint, the Azad Maidan police registered a case under section 363 (kidnapping) of the Indian Penal Code. The cops informed several police stations under the south Mumbai jurisdiction and formed eight teams to locate the culprit and rescue the baby, the police said.
