The way the saree is worn today is constantly changing and it isn`t even confined to traditional settings. From improvising with it to wear in the office or even choosing to drape it for a date, wearing the saree is never going to be the same

A saree is one of the few garments that can be worn in a number of different ways. It may have had humble beginnings, but it is now every fashionista`s go-to ensemble. In recent years, Generation Z has regained the saree by adapting it to its modern designs.
Priyanka Priyadarshini, category head, Navyasa by Liva sarees said, "Today`s fashion thought leaders, such as new generation designers, creative artists, and fashion content providers, have affected trends by reinventing the garment with a fresh and new viewpoint, challenging the traditional feminine aesthetics associated with it. The saree is making a resurgence as loose everyday apparel, thanks to unique designs offered by fresh brains. Designers and stylists are abandoning traditional saree draping; instead of a petticoat, they wrap it around trousers and match it with bralettes and bikinis".
