A day after the trailer of The Family Man 2 dropped, Telugu actor Samantha Akkineni, who makes her digital debut with Raj-DK’s show, is facing the heat. A section of netizens has demanded a ban on the show as it depicts Tamil Nadu in a “negative light.” Akkineni plays a terrorist, who talks about a “hostage situation” in Chennai. “Tamil people are not terrorists. We love peace, don’t project us as terrorists,” wrote a social media user. The Manoj Bajpayee-starrer drops next month.
Actors like Kangana Ranaut, Naga Chaitanya were all praises for Samantha`s different avatar. "This girl has my heart @samantharuthprabhuoffl," wrote Kangana, sharing a snapshot of the trailer featuring Samantha.
