The much-awaited periodic drama 1962 - The War In The Hills has released, and the reviews coming in are strong, fiery and all praises for the women in the show who have stolen hearts with their bold and courageous performances. Actress Rochelle Rao aka `Rimpa` the innocent and humble milkwoman who goes out of her way to help the soldiers in ways beyond her imagination, is being mighty praised for her naive interior but bold exterior character portrayal, which sees her in a different light.
Ecstatic on hearing about the girls in 1962 shining bright, Rochelle is happy to see all the women including her taking over a male-dominated show in such a brilliant way! "It`s great to see strong female characters written into a story that would have been male-centric! This is indeed a show ruled by army men, but to see all of us women being equally at power and at the forefront with our characters is quite amazing!"
