Season 2 of Dice Media’s superhit series ‘Operation MBBS’ unveiled a soul-stirring narrative of the struggles doctors faced with the onset of the pandemic, and parallelly, the journeys of MBBS students during their most crucial 2nd year of the degree. This season was truly exceptional as it paid respect to the relentless efforts of the medical fraternity and more! The three protagonists Nishant (Ayush Mehra), Huma (Sarah Hashmi) and Sakshi (Anshul Chauhan) are shown in a whole new light with exemplary performances from Nishant when he stands up for himself against his Senior Yadav, and the helplessness he feels when he realizes his father hasn’t gone back home from his clinic in order to fulfill his duties as a doctor. Huma’s emotions were felt off-screen as well by audiences, as they empathized with her during her panic attack, brought on by her fear of not living up to her mother’s expectations. Sakshi has truly given justice to her bold character in the scene when she stands up to fight for Ramesh Kaka when she realizes he was following a wrong prescription given by the doctor. She is conflicted, and baffled when she comes to realize the dean, whom she blamed for the prescription, took the blame of another student on herself and has tested positive for COVID-19. Through such stories, each episode in the season was engrossing and kept audiences glued to their screens wanting to know what was going to happen next.
