Ashwiny on 'Break Point': This is one of the biggest productions we have done

ZEE5’s highly-anticipated series co-directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari and Nitesh Tiwari, ‘BREAK POINT’ is going to be special for the filmmaker duo, since it brings the two stalwarts together for the first time

Co-directed and produced by Ashwiny and Nitesh, ‘BREAK POINT’ is a 7-part series that will not only construct the epic tennis matches featuring the legendary tennis players – Leander Paes and Mahesh Bhupathi but also deconstruct their relationship, both on and off the court. Apart from their accomplishments on the tennis court, the charismatic duo is known for their off-court lives and the public split which broke the heart of the nation.
In an interaction, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari shared how important this project has been to the entire team. “This is the first time Nitesh and I are co-directing together. We have worked with each other in various capacity but we are now finally directing together", informs Ashwiny. Elaborating further, she says, “I would like to thank Mahesh (Bhupathi) and Leander (Paes) for believing in us and telling their story as it is. For us, this is one of the biggest productions we have done across the world - from America to Australia, getting to speak to many champions in the world of Tennis".
