ALTBalaji and ZEE5 launch the much-awaited Season 2 of their favourite woman-centric series Dev DD. The series was initially based on the book Devdas by Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay but from a female perspective. Despite being a story known for ages, it is the fresh storytelling where the tables have turned that will keep you glued to your couch and binge-watch till the end.
As the story progresses, there are twists in the plot, which are just awesome. Set in today`s time and age, but in a society that isn`t very open-minded, Devika Dharam Dwivedi is a girl determined to break taboos and stereotypes. The protagonist and her badass attitude form the core of DEV DD! The just-released second season of the popular web series touches upon subjects like female foeticide and LGBTQ.
