Actor Saanand Verma spoke at length about the impact of showbiz on the environment and how artists are very prone to depression and anxiety. The actor, who was last seen in the film `Babli Bouncer`, said that the public gaze makes it easy to get anxious. He clarified, "The entertainment industry is the most insecure industry and depression and anxiety is far more visible in this industry. As it’s a show business we are in the news so people keep on looking for different kinds of issues that come with the people in the entertainment industry. There are many people who are capable of making news in the industry. Since it is a glamour industry, everyone likes to read about it. That’s why depression and anxiety is felt more here. There are easy targets and people feel mental sick very quickly because of high levels of stress. Here very less percentage of strugglers become successful. Very few of them get the taste of success,” he says.
