Set against the backdrop of Prayagraj, the daily soap Maitree focuses on the dramatic journey of Maitree (Shrenu Parikh) and soul sister, Nandini (Bhaweeka Chaudhary). In the upcoming episodes, Chaudhary will be seen with a prosthetic baby bump to depict her character’s pregnancy. “This is the first time I am playing a pregnant woman, so I wasn’t sure how I would feel or look with [the prosthetic bump]. However, doing such meaningful scenes is helping me get into the skin of my character and hone my acting skills,” says Chaudhary.
