The popular television awards, Star Parivaar Awards, returned with a bang. The ceremony was held in Mumbai on September 8 and honoured renowned actors with top honours. Star Parivaar Awards was aired over the weekend. Anupamaa, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai led the ceremony with maximum wins. Star Parivaar Awards returned after a gap of almost 5 years. It was one of the most sought-after awards on television.
Rupali Ganguly, who plays the titular role in Star Plus` acclaimed show Anupamaa, received the award for being the `Favourite Maa` on Indian television. She shared the Favourite Jodi award with Gaurav Khanna. Pranali Rathod of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai won the trophies for being the `Most Stylish Sadasya` and `Favourite Patni`. Bhavika Sharma and Shakti Arora were conferred with awards for Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin.
