Saumya Tandon opens up on being replaced by Nehha Pendse

Actress Saumya Tandon became a household name as Anita Bhabhi after the popular sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain. Reports were doing the rounds that the actress was going to quit the show owing to the pandemic. In August, she confirmed that she had indeed quit the show, followed by which the makers replaced her with Nehha Pendse.
In a recent interview, Saumya, who is also best remembered as Roop from Jab We Met, expressed her views on being replaced by Nehha. Speaking to The Times of India, Saumya said, "I`m happy to hear this news. Nehha is a good choice. I have worked with her on a non-fiction show. While I hosted it, she performed gags in it. She is talented and professional. I am certain that she will do justice to the part. I have given my sweat, blood and heart to this character. I am glad she is portraying it."
