Last seen as Vrinda on Hamariwali Good News, Samikssha Batnagar features in the web film, Black Rose, which started streaming on ShemarooMe from April 16. She plays a cop in the murder mystery. Batnagar is keen to focus on digital shows and films as it is “now and happening.”

Black Rose stars Samikssha Batnagar and Jaishankar Tripathi in pivotal roles. She plays the lead role of ACP Tara, who is the special investigating officer in charge of solving a car accident case. It’s a murder mystery directed by Hemant N Mishra and shot in Allahabad.
